1 is to only give out your first name and gender. The second is to not chat with random strangers. And the last one is to have a good username and password.

Using a strong password. By turning off your location services when on ipod (or when on other apple devices) or phone. And making sure not to give away privacy.

1.) think before you post and ask yourself " if I see or read this again the next time I see this, will I still think that this is still as appropriate as I think of it now?"

You should have the privacy settings high so not anyone can see your photos only your friends and if you don't have a strong password then it will be easy for people to hack you. Also make sure each account should have a different password (doesn't have to be totally different) so if a hacker hacks one social network they will try all of them! And always think before you upload something because it will be in the internet forever.

My three most important strategies for protecting my privacy online are: first, not allowing people I don't know to see my profile information. Second, not posting a picture of me so that people can easily find where I am. Third, not giving out too much information about myself and limiting the amount of social networks I am doing.

My three most important strategies for protecting myself online are first, never put any information on where you live, go to school, and what groups you are involved in. Second, don't put any pictures of yourself that EVERYBODY can see. And finally, don't give anyone your full name, age, phone number, or passwords to any of your social media accounts.
